We have insurance and our teachers, chefs and venues are also insured. You are responsible for arranging your own travel insurance which should cover you for the activities you plan to undertake and have adequate cover for travel delay, cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and your personal belongings.
Travel insurance is a personal choice, flights can sometimes be changed or delayed it is a good idea to be covered. On some of our trips we will request your travel insurance details before you travel so that in the very unlikely event of an accident or illness, we can follow your insurers procedures for getting you home.
Our full booking terms and conditions are provided when you book and sent as an attachment with your retreat confirmation. Your 30% deposit is non-refundable. After that our cancellation charges depend on the number of days before departure date as follows:
– 90 days or more: 20% of your retreat cost
– 30-90 days:75% of your retreat cost
– Less than 30 days 100% of your retreat cost
A comprehensive packing list is included in your welcome pack which you receive 8 weeks before your yoga retreat. If you want to plan further in advance just ask and we’ll send it to you.
Yoga is a barefoot discipline and although the equipment gets cleaned regularly by the venue there is no guarantee they are 100% sterile.
We recommend guests bring their own mat, or a travel mat to put over the mats provided. Sometimes you will be asked to bring a belt and 2 blocks, depending on the teacher and location.
We don’t expect you to give up smoking to come on our yoga retreats but recommend cutting down before you come and keeping your smoking to an absolute minimum while you are with us. We ask you to be mindful of others on retreat in terms of where and when you smoke.
Smoking is not permitted in the rooms, anywhere near food or in the Yoga Shala/fitness area.
We recognise levels are important and have designed each retreat around this so you know exactly what kind of retreat you are going on. Some are designed just for newbies, others for those who have a strong background in fitness/yoga. Our team are very well trained to make sure everyone gets what they need, offering opportunities for growth and new experiences.

Absolutely, travelling alone is a great way to meet new people and also ensure you receive precious ‘me’ time!
If you choose to share a room you will be put in with the same sex.
Of course! We don’t supply alcohol on the retreat, but often it is available at an extra cost (unless stated otherwise) We like to keep the drinking casual and relaxed, Just remember the days will be starting with the sun rising!
